BS8300 / Document M / Equalities Act : In the standard fixing position, this door closer has an opening force of less than 30N (0-30°) when fitted to a door at least 803mm wide, and an opening force of less than 22.5N (30-60°) when fitted to a door at least 573mm wide • Therefore, the minimum suitable width is 803mm
Note : BS 8300 requirements relate to the entire door set, and as such the minimum suitable width will increase as the door increases in weight when fitted with additional ironmongery
