Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

Payment is made via PayPal, this means that you can use a wide range of credit and debit cards with complete confidence - you do not need to have a PayPal account, it works just the same as making an online credit card payment usually does. If you do not wish to pay online, you can call us on 0131 444 1149 and we can take your payment details over the phone.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will assist you in rectifying the error.

A contract will be deemed to exist once an order has been placed and payment has been made. The exception to this is where an account customer places an order, whereby a contract will be deemed to exist once the order has been placed. We work very hard to ensure that our pricing is accurate, but in the event of an error we will contact you to discuss a resolution.

Shipping And Handling

Costs for shipping and handling are listed in our Carriage Information and Charges pages, located in the left hand menu of our site.

Delivery Schedule

We will always endeavour to deliver your order within the time indicated in the product description. Your order will be despatched when complete, and therefore the longest delivery time stated within your list of products will usually be the one that applies. If you require available items quicker, you should contact us to make the necessary arrangements. Additional carriage charges may apply when ordered items are despatched separately.

You must inform us within three working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence. Damaged goods must be signed for as "Damaged" upon receipt otherwise claims cannot be accepted.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. The delivery times stated are the normal amount of time we would expect it to take to deliver your item/s.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added.

Credit Card Security

After much investigation and deliberation, we have found PayPal to be the perfect payment partner for our web based transactions. PayPal is a household name and a world leading provider for secure online payment processing, in other words it's a name you can trust. You don't need to have a PayPal account to purchase, just follow the instructions when you are directed to PayPal's payment pages. All major credit and debit cards can be used to make a payment through PayPal on our site.

Guarantee

Please see our Guarantees page for details, located in the left hand menu of our site.

Returns Policy

You can purchase in confidence. Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the original cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days.

You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or mis-described. EHS Architectural will not accept liability for returned goods lost in transit. Postal, carriage or other delivery charges for items returned are at the expense of the returnee and EHS Architectural do not accept any liability whatsoever for charges incurred when returning any item previously supplied by us.

Any goods returned should be in saleable condition. All returns are subject to condition that the item(s) and packaging are unused and in perfect condition. Product(s) returned as unwanted will be subject to a restocking charge of 15%. EHS Architectural reserve the right to deduct an amount from any refund should we deem that the returned item(s) / packaging do not fulfil the previous criteria. Any such punitive deduction is entirely at our discretion without resort to mediation.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
